Rock Stuff:
Objects are categorized here in an attempt to make sense of what is being examined. Categories change and morph as more is learned. Whoever built these did not think in terms of these categories, it would probably be a better guess that they saw all of these structures in some unified manner not as parts.
The term rock stacks refers to the stacks of rock found in the areas of the rock lines and often connected to them. Bill Donato, an archeologist, mentioned one time that a pile of rocks, just rocks, without fill is assumed to be artificial. I am no geologist but have looked for a process which could create a pile of rocks and have not found one. These rock stacks fit Bill's definition and contain many other artificial characteristics.
Includes rocks with gaps and slots, this section contains what the sites back East refer to as "Split Wedged Rocks". Tim McSweeny also refers to them as Spirit Doors.
Shaped or Sculpted Rocks:
This section covers any rocks showing artificial shaping..
